Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for producing modification approval and certification reports that demonstrate compliance to the aircraft manufacturer and regulatory authorities, thereby ensuring a safe and effective design is released into airline service.
- Evaluating the performance of components by analysis of test data and inspection of post-test strip condition of parts.
- Communicating with customers in the process of preparing Validation and verification reports
- Responsible for generating the off-test reports and various other reports as a part of the engine development program
Key Accountabilities:
- Experience in developing and implementing Verification strategies to meet product requirements
- Apply systems thinking and engineering knowledge to define & manage product verification strategies
- Plan and integrate with engineering teams to execute verification work
- Oversee verification work to meet programme milestones including supporting engine test activities associated with required verification activities
- Author robust product Standardisation documentation
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and resolve technical issues
- Complete work to the relevant Quality processes
- Engineers should be able to assess the existing or modified design and prepare verification strategy.
- Knowledge of airworthiness standards (CS-E / JAR-E / FAR / BCAR) to assess the design is an added advantage.
- Good technical and system understanding of aero engines would be advantageous.
- Good technical report writing is essential to be a successful Validation Engineer.
- Should be able to apply sound logical reasoning to write a technical report while accessing lot of technical reports from various functions like stress report, design reports etc.
- Highly numerate with strong technical and analytical skills, problem-solving ability and capable of systems level thinking, including personal drive, excellent communication and presentation skills, and will need to contribute effectively in a team environment.
