We’re looking for an experienced Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) Welding / Joining Engineer to support a 12-month Body in White manufacturing programme in the UK.
This is not a production welder role. We need someone who can develop, optimise and troubleshoot welding processes, support robotic weld-cell commissioning and resolve complex joining issues in a manufacturing environment.
We’re particularly interested in experience with:
- CMT / Fronius CMT, TPS or TPS-i
- MIG / MAG / GMAW
- Robotic welding systems
- Welding process development and parameter optimisation
- Weld defect investigation and root-cause analysis
- Automotive, BIW or high-volume manufacturing
- Thin-gauge sheet-metal welding
Experience with aluminium BIW, KUKA/ABB/FANUC/Comau/Yaskawa, weld metallurgy, PFMEA or process capability would be a strong advantage.
