Connected Car Feature Owner - Crewe - United Kingdom

JOB Responsibilities : 

• The Connected Car department is part of the Electrical Engineering Division within Bentley Motors, with the responsibility of integrating, testing and deploying Connected (or Digital) services within the structure of Vehicle Model Year programmes. Connected Services include for example:
• Swarm services (eg traffic information),
• Emergency SOS call services,
• Ability to control certain vehicle functions from mobile app (eg Honk and Flash or Pre-heat cabin),
• Access vehicle data on mobile app (eg Charging levels, trip statistics),
• Set parameters (eg Geofence)
• Search for Points of interest, weather, news etc information (in car)
• The Connected Car Department is responsible for delivering connected services within a vehicle project, supporting them after deployment (eg resolving customer complaints/field issues) and supporting updates/changes as required to the services outside of a vehicle project.
• The Connected Services are managed by “Feature Owners” and are split into the following categories of service:
• Remote, EV, Navigation & Swarm, Infotainment, Call services, App studio, Core services and Data services
• The portfolio of services within each category are managed end-to-end by the Feature Owner. Many services are carried over to future Model Year vehicle projects with no major changes to functionality
