ECMS Process Coordinator - United Kingdom

JOB TITLE: ECMS Process Coordinator

MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

  • The role is responsible for the coordination of the Product related Environmental Compliance Management Systems (ECMS).
  • The role is required to organise and managing the Product related ECMS clearing process, report on the effectiveness of ECMS at Brand level and be responsible for reporting to relevant internal bodies, Audi, and integration across the brand group in these topics.
  • It is also responsible to drive continual improvement and adaptation to the processes as the policies and requirements change.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation of ECMS clearing

  • Implementation of the product ECMS clearing process for the Brand
  • Establishment of supporting processes including integration in to the current compliance landscape
  • Responsible for running ECMS clearing topics cross functionally across the Brand
  • Continual improvement of ECMS processes Operation of ECMS clearing process
  • Owner of the Bentley ECMS clearing list, and management of issues raised
  • Cross functionally work with issue owners to track progress and drive the escalation of any issues or timing
  • Reports clearing process to Bentley Compliance steering committee and represents the Brand to group for product ECMS clearing requirements
  • Ensure maintenance and continual improvement of ECMS clearing process
  • Risk assess clearing topics and escalate compliance issues Reporting of product ECMS
  • Reporting of overall product related ECMS status
  • Creation and improvement of the reporting dashboard
  • Maintenance of ECMS reporting dashboard
  • Reporting of ECMS clearing including management summary and detailed breakdown
  • Product ECMS consultant
  • Act as ECMS consultant for the Brand to other process owners and functions
  • Responsible for the creation and running of training programmes for ECMS
  • Responsible for functional authorisation to relevant processes and workflows
  • Ensures the adaption of any changes driven by group ECMS
  • Group interface
  • Attend group ECMS meetings and where relevant represent the Brand
  • Maintain and update Bentley clearing documents and report to all levels as required (including Board reporting and Audi)
  • Escalate any Bentley issues to Group clearing meeting and drive the resolution of Brand issues with Audi

 

KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of project management and issue tracking
  • Experience of Quality Management System, design, improvement and auditing
  • Demonstrates communication skills at all levels in the business – internally and externally
  • Demonstrable experience in processes, standards and technical topics
  • Demonstrable experience of the application of continuous improvement activities
  • Experience of certification (product and process) management and reporting
  • Demonstrable experience of whole product lifecycle processes
  • Demonstrable experience legislation and conformity topics

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Quality Management Systems design and improvement
  • Process Orientation across all business disciplines
  • Problem solving methods and tools
  • Continuous Improvement methods and tools/techniques/value stream mapping
  • Knowledge of automotive process, procedures and methods (Bentley/VW preferred)
  • Project planning methods and tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Auditor qualification (prefer lead)
  • German language skills beneficial
