PDSL UK specialises in Engineering & IT consultancy services for Automotive, Rail, Energy, Telecoms and Aerospace OEM’s through onsite/offsite resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand design requirements related to electrical systems and components in aero engine and carry out concept design and detailed design tasks
- Create schematics and layouts in AutoCAD or any other CAD tool and create simulations of the system using electrical design simulation tools
- Participate in design reviews, interact with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to ensure design for manufacturability
- Provide design support for testing, V&V and manufacturing of the components and carry our required design modifications to optimise the system performance
Skills/Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Good hand-on skills of creating electrical schematic drawings, layouts and simulations
- Awareness and skills to use applicable PDM/PLM systems for managing design data
- Experience of electrical design experience in power generation or aero-engine industry
