This full-time contract role offers flexible shifts to support evening and night-time vehicle testing, perfect for experienced engineers passionate about automotive lighting validation. You’ll oversee the validation of interior and exterior lighting features, conducting static and dynamic assessments - including night-time road testing - ensuring compliance with stringent standards. Your technical expertise will facilitate fault identification, defect management, and certification documentation, working collaboratively within Agile teams.
Ideal candidates possess a background in vehicle validation, testing, or integration, with skills in complex test execution, fault diagnosis, and documentation. Experience with lighting systems, electrical features, and relevant validation tools such as JIRA or XRAY will be highly valued. A full UK driving licence, advanced JLR road-driving approval, and proving-ground access are required.
