NVH Testing Engineer
Location: Warwickshire
We are currently seeking a professional Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Engineer (NVH) to join our growing team in Warwickshire.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the vehicle testing function by delivering electrified powerpack noise, vibration, and harshness attributes across various vehicle applications. Operating within an Agile framework, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with team members to analyze competitor information, conduct benchmarking, and set targets.
- Liaising with Electric Drive Unit design and development, Powertrain, and Vehicle NVH teams.
- Supporting electrified Powerpack NVH attribute development and delivery.
- Conducting noise, vibration, and harshness measurements and performing data analysis.
- Preparing comprehensive reports with clear results and conclusions.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in problem resolution processes.
What You Will Need:
To succeed in this role, we require the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience in working with LMS test.lab or a similar NVH data acquisition and processing system.
- Proficiency in using noise, vibration, and harshness test equipment (accelerometers and microphones) for data collection and processing, either in a vehicle or in a test chamber.
- Ideally, exposure to applying NVH experience within a project management-led environment (AGILE methodology).
- Ability to utilize quality tools, processes, and metrics to ensure product robustness and drive continuous improvement.
