Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join our Whole Vehicle – Body Acoustics team as a Squeak & Rattle Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of both current and future model line test and development activities. Collaborating closely with the Attribute Technical Manager, you’ll ensure that our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Attribute Target Setting: Utilize comprehensive competitor benchmarking and analysis to define and achieve attribute targets.

Attribute Development: Develop and deliver squeak & rattle attribute performance, ensuring alignment with Bentley’s renowned quality standards.

Problem Solving: Lead complex problem-solving efforts, including root cause analysis and the development of effective countermeasures.

Concerns Management: Manage concerns effectively, delivering innovative and practical solutions in collaboration with design functions.

Testing & Analysis: Conduct thorough testing and analysis on projects using Bentley's onsite test rigs and external proving grounds.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery of attribute standards across the business.
Qualifications & Skills:

Technical Expertise: A strong background in product or attribute development and delivery.

Educational Background: HND/Degree or equivalent relevant experience in squeak & rattle development.

Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated experience in complex concern analysis, root cause investigation, and countermeasure implementation.

Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with physical and virtual testing methods, including simulation, component, and whole vehicle testing.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various departments.

Self-Starter: A proactive and customer-focused mindset, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks within project constraints.
Additional Information:

Contract Type: Outside IR35.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week with overtime available.

Hybrid Working: Flexibility to work remotely, with onsite support required for testing.

Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential.
