PDSL is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Suspension Systems Quality Engineer to join a leading automotive client.
In this pivotal role, you will lead investigations into wheel alignment and ride height, driving improvements through robust planning and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead capability and statistical investigations focusing on suspension systems.
- Deliver strategic glide paths for gateway delivery while applying industry best practices, including 8D and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Facilitate resolution of chassis platform issues, ensuring effective communication against program timelines.
- Support the Launch Quality Operating Standard (LQOS) by defining problems and identifying root causes in each build phase.
Key Skills:
- Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in Excel, with a solid foundation in engineering principles.
- Utilization of quality tools such as Ishikawa diagrams and problem-solving methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
- Experience with GD&T, Minitab, and CAD visualization is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
