Working closely with engineering teams and suppliers, you'll investigate complex vehicle faults, review diagnostic logs, and contribute to the validation of systems across Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment and Diagnostics. Additionally, experience with automated testing frameworks like Python, Robot Framework, or Anna Framework will be highly valued.

This is not a production welder role. We need someone who can develop, optimise and troubleshoot welding processes, support robotic weld-cell commissioning and resolve complex joining issues in a manufacturing environment.

We’re particularly interested in experience with:

• CMT / Fronius CMT, TPS or TPS-i
• MIG / MAG / GMAW
• Robotic welding systems
• Welding process development and parameter optimisation
• Weld defect investigation and root-cause analysis
• Automotive, BIW or high-volume manufacturing
• Thin-gauge sheet-metal welding

Experience with aluminium BIW, KUKA/ABB/FANUC/Comau/Yaskawa, weld metallurgy, PFMEA or process capability would be a strong advantage.

Candidates should possess over 8 years' expertise in optical design, with proven track records delivering series-production lighting systems. Proficiency in LucidShape, Ansys SPEOS, or LightTools is essential, combined with strong understanding of ECE, FMVSS, and AIS/CMVR regulations. The role involves collaborative work across disciplines, advanced virtual simulation, and leadership in complex headlamp technologies such as ADB, Matrix, and Pixel lighting systems.
